The Opportunity
Ready to leave your mark in the next generation of satellite technology? Our market-leading Defence & Space client seeks a skilled Manufacturing Engineer in Stevenage.
Our client is a leading player in the Aerospace sector, specializing in Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Test (MAIT) of satellite telecoms and ENS products. They are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering excellence in every aspect of their operations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you'll support Operations, collaborating with technicians, inspectors, and leaders; generating standard documentation, leading quality reviews, and driving continuous improvement. You will also be supporting research and development and implementing new processes, designing operational tooling, ensuring safety compliance, and conducting critical handling reviews.
Skills & Experience
Proficiency in 3DX DELMIA and DELMIA Apriso is essential. You must have experience in creating Manufacturing Bill of Materials and 3D work instructions. Five years' aerospace manufacturing experience required. You should come from a strong mechanical and electrical design/validation background, have lean manufacturing expertise, and be a motivated individual Understanding of spacecraft manufacturing and clean room experience preferred.
