Belcan is looking for a Contract Infrastructure Technology & Operations Specialist to work entirely remotely!

Job Summary:

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, with experience with defining, supporting, and integrating CHMMS Reference Data and Configurable items within the CHMMS system. The candidate may be required to meet with the customer and provide training at the discretion and requirement of the program. Travel to India and/or the US is expected.

Job Duties:

  • Configure and deliver updated Reference Data for CHMMS containing corrected and accurate model and inspection data.
  • Define and support the delivery of all related materials in support of future efforts. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Updating Reference Data and RDM Data Dumps
    • Create detailed plan to manage future changes to the product
    • Simplified test and validation plan
    • Simplified customer acceptance plan with milestones
  • Collect, configure and deliver updated Reference Data to reflect customer preferred profiles, roles, and nomenclature.
  • Configure and deliver updated configuration files to reflect customer preferred nomenclature and spelling (e.g., Tyres to Tires, Arisings to Faults, or similar).
  • Identify the need for, create and deliver updated Sapphire/CHMMS/Saber installers as required (source code required).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter with a high priority on first-time quality and customer satisfaction while handling conflict situations calmly and dependably while having the capability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to work seamlessly in an IPT environment and across facilities and groups.
  • Ability to effectively present oral and written engineering requirements and results.
