The Opportunity

Belcan Workforce Solutions are looking for an Industrialisation Manager to join our Aerospace client's Single Aisle Value Stream Management Organisation based in Broughton.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team at the forefront of wing modifications and new developments for single-aisle aircraft and contribute to the success of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Industrialisation Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Industrialization to ensure the successful embodiment of Single Aisle Wing Modifications and New Developments. Your responsibilities will include industrial assessments, project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

As an industrial assessor, you will conduct assessments at project milestone gates, ensuring alignment with Broughton Plant requirements. You'll define and monitor top-level project plans for modifications and new development projects, aligning them with central program requirements and individual functional stakeholders. Additionally, you'll contribute to resource planning, workload, and funding requirements, manage plans to ensure accurate delivery of time, cost, quality, and safety requirements, and engage with program work package managers and multi-functional team leaders to manage project risks and opportunities.

Your role as Industrialisation Manager will also involve identifying opportunities for product industrial system improvements, chairing weekly governance meetings, leading and developing a team of Local Representatives, deploying communication and awareness training within the Operations team, providing Local Representative support during development builds and progress reports, and supporting process improvements through Project Management principles.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Understanding of Wing Operational processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Successful demonstration of managing similar projects.
  • Application of project management tools and techniques.

Desirable

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Education (typically up to degree level) or similar demonstrated experience and capability.
