Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets and they are looking for a HSE Advisor in the Dalry area. The is a 12 month contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated HSE support to operational sites, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and HSE Plans.
- Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain HSE standards.
- Mentor personnel in HSE practices and facilitate training programs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HSE matters, liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive continual enhancement of HSE governance.
Experience:
- Proven experience in auditing, incident management, and HSE legislation.
- Familiarity with industrial services sector and improvement planning.
- Strong coaching and training abilities.
Qualifications:
- Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH membership (Tech/Graduate status).
- Preferred: Industry-specific qualifications.
Additional Information:
- In addition to the outlined responsibilities, you will contribute to emergency response planning, monitor compliance with HSE performance indicators, and support the implementation of Company HSE Improvement Plans.
