Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Supply Chain Operations organisation for a Technical Incoming Inspector based in Belfast. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming components meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical accuracy.
Responsibilities
The Technical Incoming Inspector will be responsible for:
- Performing comprehensive inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities.
- Ensuring all products comply with design specifications, customer requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
- Providing clear technical guidance and instruction to operators when required.
- Monitoring and supporting the Delegated Operator Scheme.
- Working collaboratively and flexibly within group environments.
- Producing detailed technical reports to identify drawing, process, or tooling anomalies and support corrective action.
Skill Set
Essential
- Completion of a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, with a minimum of 2 years' post‑apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace, manufacturing/assembly, or tooling environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control requirements.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and a solid knowledge of company manufacturing and assembly practices, standards, and requirements.
Desirable
- ONC, A‑Levels, or equivalent technical qualifications.
- Knowledge or experience in 3D metrology.
