Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Supply Chain Operations organisation for a Technical Incoming Inspector based in Belfast. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming components meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical accuracy.

Responsibilities

The Technical Incoming Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Performing comprehensive inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensuring all products comply with design specifications, customer requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Providing clear technical guidance and instruction to operators when required.
  • Monitoring and supporting the Delegated Operator Scheme.
  • Working collaboratively and flexibly within group environments.
  • Producing detailed technical reports to identify drawing, process, or tooling anomalies and support corrective action.

Skill Set

Essential

  • Completion of a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, with a minimum of 2 years' post‑apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace, manufacturing/assembly, or tooling environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control requirements.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and a solid knowledge of company manufacturing and assembly practices, standards, and requirements.

Desirable

  • ONC, A‑Levels, or equivalent technical qualifications.
  • Knowledge or experience in 3D metrology.
