Contract System Engineers - Inside IR35 on initially a 12 month Contract
Due to winning new projects and clients, Belcan are looking for Contract Systems Engineers with Hybrid on an initial 12 month contract. The Systems Engineers should have a strong technical background in Aerospace and the management of System requirements through to compliance. They will help assist in delivering solutions to customers and provide detailed technical guidance and the execution of requirement management plans and associated strategies. They will have a passion to help drive forward innovative ideas and follow them through to implementation, whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements.
The Systems Engineers will be involved in flight clearance strategies for new products and systems for Flight, Mission or Avionic Systems. This will include some Software quality, safety and requirements management including Software design/Validation & Verification, complex real time safety related/critical systems.
Integration activities for Avionics / Electrical Systems Design as well as for Engine Control Systems and Display Systems and Load Management Systems. Experience of producing documentation such as Test Reports, System Requirements Documentation (SRD), Interface Control Documentation (ICD), Engineering Design Requirements (EDR) and Test Requirements.
Ideally the successful Systems Engineers will be degree qualified with previous experience in the above Systems and have a proven track record in Aerospace Certification Programmes being conversant with FAA, CAA, FAR, JAR, BCAR & certification requirements, aircraft standards; DO-254, DO-178C, DO-168G & ATA 100 System.
