Hourly rate: £30.53 Umbrella OR £23.08 PAYE
Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a talented individual with the mindset and drive for challenge to be given the opportunity of working as a Supply Chain and Governance Technician onsite with one of our market-leading Defence clients on an exciting project, supplying directly into the Royal Air Force A400M operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the dynamic Business Operations Office with senior leaders where you will be directly supporting missions such as the Kabul Airlift, COVID vaccine delivery, medical evacuation and standing A400M tasks across the globe.
You will be responsible for managing the Consumables, Expendables, and General procurement orders and managing internal purchasing requirements in SAP and/or MySupply to convert requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Additionally, you will be managing suppliers' monthly performance according to the contract in place, ensuring requirements are delivered on time, quality, and cost, as well as launching improvement activities and risk mitigation plans.
You will work closely with the finance team, assisting them with budgetary control regarding the quarterly procurement plan and forecast expenditure, and conduct weekly/monthly reviews with principle internal budget owners' requirements.
To be successful, you will need proven experience within Procurement and be able to use SAP to a high level. Experience using MySupply would be advantageous, however our client is willing to train on this in order to further develop your talent. Having either a short notice period or being immediately available is a must as our client wants to have time to properly train you before handing over the role to you from the current holder.
