Job Title: Risk Analyst
Location: Swindon or London
Full Time: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: From £330 per day
What You Will Do:
Belcan are currently working with one of the largest transport companies in the UK, and we are looking for a Risk Analyst for a 6 month contract based Swindon or London to join our clients team.
The role is initially a 6 month contract, with the possibility of an extension. There is a requirement to be on site full time for this position, so please apply if you are able to commit to 5 days per week on site.
As a Risk Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
- Facilitate and deliver Cost and Schedule Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using @Risk and Safran to model uncertainty and provide probabilistic forecasts.
- Lead risk workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify, assess, and prioritise risks across major projects and programs.
- Analyse risk data to produce clear, actionable reports and executive briefings, supporting strategic decision-making and governance boards.
- Collaborate with managers and risk practitioners to embed risk management practices and ensure alignment across portfolios.
- Drive continuous improvement in risk frameworks, tools, and methodologies, providing training and mentoring to project teams.
- Producing reports surrounding time and quality
Essential:
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with experience in major project environments. (Construction or Infrastructure)
- Proficiency in risk management tools including @Risk, Safran Risk, and data analytics platforms.
- Ability to translate complex risk data into clear insights for senior leadership.
