We are now seeking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose:
To manage both small and large projects to successful completion. (From full Industrial control installations, through to complex system test facilities and automatic test equipment to test cables, test fixtures, automated process control and electro-mechanical systems.)
Primary Responsibilities:
Development of quotes, project plans and budgets
Management of the customer's technical issues, SOW and Requirements.
Design work
Management of the engineering process through the tollgate system
Key duties to Include:
Quote estimation, planning and quote writing
Customer needs identification
Electrical / Electronic design work
Leadership of design review meetings
Collaboration with EPM planning resources on each project
Effective communication and regular status reporting
Identification of risks and escalation to BTS management
Preparation of quality control and testing documents
Preparation of manufacturing planning documents
Skills:
Electronic engineering skills - the ability to design circuit boards and test circuits from first principles.
Understanding of mechanical systems.
Documentation - ability to produce drawings and document sets for complex systems.
Estimating - accurate estimating on engineering projects.
Communication - the ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, managers, and suppliers.
Drawings - CAD design, Solidworks. Electrical
Software skills - LabVIEW, Visual Basic, C++
Multitasking - The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time provides an interesting and challenging environment for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering several years' experience in a professional engineering capacity, test engineering solutions, Electronic & PCB design.
Project management experience
