Project Administrator - Derby - Permanent

Belcan are looking for a Project Administrator to join our growing Project Team. The Project Administrator role is integral to the productivity of our Engineering Team based in Derby dealing with the whole life cycle of projects.

Reporting to the Project Control Team Leader and working closely with Project Controllers on a variety of Client's projects within the Aerospace, Automotive and Marine industries.

The Project Administrator is responsible for providing clerical support to the Project team and reports to the Project Control Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Folder set up, project management administration and audit.
  • Updating, opening and closing of project activities as required
  • Monitoring of Project team mailboxes
  • Data Cleansing within Project system.
  • Timesheet chasing and uploading
  • Monitoring of leavers to ensure user licences for ERP system have been removed and any excel timesheets have been archived.
  • Monitoring of travel expense to ensure all chargeable expenses are in ERP system.
  • Monitoring of travel time bookings to ensure chargeable hours are recovered against projects.
  • Assisting with the production and updating of the KPI pack
  • Assisting in the provision of data to the customer with respect to the status of projects.
  • Assisting with the production of customer communication packs
  • Assisting with the preparation of invoicing
  • Monitoring of new starts to gather information on booking codes and timesheet requirements and updated prior to start date.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail and very good with figures
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Excel as well as proficient in Microsoft Word and Power Point
  • Previous ERP experience desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
