Project & Enterprise Risk Manager - Shawbury, Shropshire (hybrid)

Pay: £41.15 per hour (Inside IR35 Umbrella)
Contract: 6-month contract (likely to be extended)
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid: Minimum 3 days onsite at Shawbury

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering complex aerospace programmes? Our client is seeking a Project & Enterprise Risk Manager to join their dynamic team in Shawbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a flagship contract ensuring helicopter availability for up to 28,000 flying hours per year.



The Role

As the Project & Enterprise Risk Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple modification and upgrade projects across the fleet, ensuring delivery on time, on cost and on quality. You'll play a key role in enterprise risk management, implementing robust contingency plans and driving operational excellence through data-driven governance and visual management systems.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage planning baselines and control multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify, analyse and mitigate risks to maintain operational continuity.
  • Perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis using advanced statistical methods.
  • Deliver insightful reports on project performance and KPIs.
  • Implement dashboards and governance tools to empower informed decision-making.


Requirements

Essential:

  • Extensive project management experience within aerospace.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Expertise in QSRA tools (Oracle Primavera P6, Risk Analysis, SAP).
  • Recognised Project Management accreditation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Understanding of aviation regulations and military networks.

Desirable:

  • Experience with military programme delivery.
  • Knowledge of MRO operations and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
