P6 Planner Opportunity!
Our client are a distinguished engineering and maintenance provider, and they would like to invite qualified professionals to join their team at the Reading location on a 12 month contract basis. With expertise spanning chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage markets, our client are dedicated to enhancing asset efficiency and minimizing maintenance costs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, operate, and monitor contract programs for effective project control within budget and duration.
- Produce feasible programs from a given scope of work, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to all relevant parties.
- Anticipate and highlight critical program areas for proactive management action.
- Fluency in Primavera P6 and Excel for prompt, accurate, and regular information provision.
- Awareness of technical implications and interfaces for effective program planning.
- Monitor and update all contract programs through relevant discussions.
- Predict and communicate critical path deviations for corrective action.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Assistant/Trainee Planning Engineer experience.
- Experience in Petrochemical, Power & Process Industry Sectors.
- Working knowledge of NEC 3&4 contracts.
- Relevant HNC/Degree qualification.
- QCF Diploma Level 3/5 Planning.
- APMP Practitioner.
- Craft training, supported by relevant CPD training.
This is a contract, hybrid opportunity in the Reading area.
The daily rate for this will reflect the scope and significance of the client in their sector.
