Graduate Electrical Design Engineer - Glasgow & Derby
Belcan are looking for Graduate Electrical Design Engineers to join our growing team in our Glasgow office(as well as Derby), to work on naval marine design projects for both defence and commercial marine vessels.

This is an exciting time to join the Belcan Marine team with many different projects on-going and new ones being started. The successful Graduates will work within the Belcan marine design team, to undertake a defined range of detail design activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements, producing 2D outputs to support operations and other functions and ensuring defined objectives are achieved whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Production of 2 CAD models and associated production output drawings that deliver the engineering design intent.
- Produce, where required, engineering evidence to back detail design decisions in the form of technical reports, specifications and studies.
Experience and Qualification
- Must have minimum HNC with an Electrical background or be degree qualified in Naval Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related subject matter.
- Must be highly proficient in the use of various software packages and systems and demonstrate a sharp ability to pick up new processes and systems quickly.
