This role is hands‑on, varied, and ideal for someone with strong control systems experience-particularly with MOOG Control Systems and Aerotest software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation, maintenance and calibration of servo‑hydraulic control systems.
  • Working across the structural test pyramid from material coupons (level 6) to large structural assemblies (level 2).
  • Setting up and configuring control systems, data acquisition systems, and hydraulic loading systems.
  • Performing structural tests in accordance with defined processes and quality standards.
  • Supporting test leaders with progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Contributing to innovation, sustainability projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with transnational test centres and internal/external suppliers.
  • Supporting training development and knowledge-sharing within the wider team.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of MOOG Control System architecture, calibration, and PID tuning.
  • Experienced user of Aerotest software (Test Manager, Test Explorer, SmartBAR).
  • Hands‑on experience with servo‑hydraulic control systems.
  • Background in aerospace, structures testing, or automotive testing.
