About the Role

Our Client is seeking a Technical Data Engineer to join their Landing Gear team, responsible for producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for aircraft maintenance. This includes the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Troubleshooting Manual (TSM), supporting the full lifecycle of aircraft operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the safety, maintainability, and operational efficiency of a growing in-service fleet, while engaging directly with airline customers and internal engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author and manage updates to AMM and TSM for Landing Gear systems.
  • Analyse engineering inputs (e.g., drawings, design changes) to assess impact on documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ICA (Instructions for Continued Airworthiness) and EASA regulations.
  • Respond to customer queries via technical request tools, ensuring timely and accurate support.
  • Lead review meetings with design offices and subcontractors, managing workload and priorities.
  • Monitor subcontracted authoring activities and ensure delivery to time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Support Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations and proactively resolve in-service issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes and tools.
  • Represent the team in transnational meetings and contribute to digital service development.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Background in Aerospace Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and configuration management.
  • Experience with technical writing and international authoring standards.
  • Hands-on aircraft experience (e.g., RAF) is highly desirable.
