About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader - Design and Product Development Engineering (PDE) to join our Gas Turbine (GT) Propulsion business unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who thrives in high‑performance environments and is passionate about leading teams delivering innovative design and product development solutions.
In this role, you will lead a team of Design Engineers, ensuring high-quality technical output, effective project delivery, strong collaboration, and adherence to engineering excellence standards. You will work across both conceptual and detailed design activities, supporting the full lifecycle of gas turbine hardware development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Design Engineers
- Oversee delivery of design work, models, drawings, and engineering reports
- Ensure quality, cost, and schedule adherence
- Review and approve technical studies and documentation
- Drive best practices, including DFM ( Design for Manufacture) and engineering governance
- Promote effective use of NX and Teamcenter tools
- Collaborate with manufacturing, analysis, test, and programme teams
