What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, write, and debug test sequences for satellite systems during ambient and environmental campaigns
  • Execute spacecraft tests on flight hardware and test benches
  • Provide first-line technical support during test operations and anomaly investigations
  • Author detailed test procedures, reports, and contribute to technical reviews
  • Develop automated test procedures using bespoke high-level software (Open Center, Elisa, Java)
  • Support spacecraft system investigations and environmental testing (TVAC, EMC, Magnetic)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including EGSE engineers, quality experts, and design architects

What You Bring

Technical Mastery:

  • Proficiency in spacecraft test scripting (CCS, Elisa, Java)
  • Strong grasp of spacecraft subsystems: data handling, comms (1553, SpaceWire), AOCS, power, thermal, FDIR
  • Experience with TMTC databases and electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix scripting (bash) and programming languages (C, Python, TCL, VBA)
  • Understanding of cleanroom protocols and system verification standards

Experience:

  • 5+ years in spacecraft or avionics system testing
  • Proven track record in fault investigation and test sequence debugging
  • Hands-on involvement in environmental and launch test campaigns
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
