Here at Belcan Engineering, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Stress Engineer to join our growing Aerospace division, to determine the mechanical integrity of components for Gas Turbines.
It is expected that the analyst may be involved in various aspects of stress, lifing and integrity analysis for both static and rotating components. From traditional hand-calculations to 3D FEA analysis, both elastic and inelastic assessments will need to be considered.
We are looking for candidates that will be comfortable working in an Engineering Services environment and will be able to balance technical challenges of the task with the commercial and project timescale associated with delivery. Previous experience in the use of ANSYS as well as Hand Calculations is a necessary requirement.
