Bristol

Salary - Competetive

Belcan's Aerospace Engineering Division is currently going through a period of significant growth and have several positions at various levels available.

Aircraft Repair Engineering and Customer Service Support for Aircraft Manufacturers, Airlines and Part 21J organisations is in our DNA. Our team is built upon years of Aircraft Repair Engineering heritage designing, analysing, approving and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs.

From lightning strike, to uncontained rotor failure damage, and repair embodiment programmes covering entire fleets for large commercial and military aircraft (fixed wing and rotors).

If you are passionate about Aircraft Repair Engineering, and you want to be part of a proactive, exciting, digitally focused, and efficient Aircraft Repair Engineering Team then we want to hear from you.

Hybrid and Remote working available dependent on experience.

Principle Responsibilities

Working with an approachable and experienced team of dedicated and forward-thinking Static and Fatigue engineers, the repair engineer's role would suit a candidate with current or recent fixed wing and/or rotor structural analysis experience.

You will be expected to deliver real repairs for live aircraft, on time and on quality, whilst working to strict time scales and with flexibility in your approach. Providing the best solution for the life of the airframe is the minimum that we expect to achieve for our customers.

Candidates will have experience using a wide range of hand calculation methods and associated supporting technical documents with the ability to apply and adapt these methods to real situations. An awareness and experience of FE techniques is useful. A solid understanding of lightweight structures and aerospace structural design is essential.

Compliance Verification experience (previous appointment as a CVE) offers a distinct advantage.

Excellent PC skills are essential, including high level proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets. An appreciation of how the digital world can be applied to our everyday working practices (e.g. coding and macros writing) would be desirable.

You must have the ability to proactively manage and organise individual workload, as well as tasks to support the wider team. You will have good tactical communication skills to provide efficient responses to internal and external stakeholders. A good command of technical English, both written and verbal, is essential.

Required Qualifications
