Belcan's Aerospace Engineering Division is currently going through a period of significant growth, we are now looking to recruit a team of Repair Stress Engineers at all levels.
Our current team is built upon our 16+ years of Aircraft Repair Engineering heritage, designing, analysing, approving and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs.
Our Repair Stress Engineers work closely with our clients to ensure all requirements are met on time, in full, whilst continuously maintaining Belcan's high standards of quality and service. From Senior Checkers/Approvers to Junior Engineers we are looking for a committed team who will work with our designers to provide hand calculations and technical documentation to support repairs with short turnarounds, to get Aircraft flying safely again.
Candidates with a Mechanical or Aeronautical Degree or equivalent experience will be considered. A firm understanding of structural design and repairs supported by experience of hand calculations or an analysis software (ANSYS, NASTRAN, PATRAN or similar) is essential, for those above graduate level. You will understand the importance of airworthiness standards and be clear on the importance of short turnarounds. Experience of a signatory level or previous experience within checking/approving stress would be advantageous but not essential.
