Belcan's Aerospace Engineering Division has currently gone through a period of significant growth, we are now looking to recruit a team of Repair Design Engineers at all levels, on a permanent basis. Our current team is built upon our 16+ years of Aircraft Repair Engineering heritage designing, analysing, approving, and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs.
Your Role
Our Repair Design Engineers work closely with our clients to ensure all requirements are met on time, in full, whilst continuously maintaining Belcan's high standards of quality and service. Day to day you will use Catia V5 to create assembly drawings as well as interrogating DMU's and technical reports to provide repair designs within a short turnaround. Examples for these repairs could include, lightning strikes, uncontained rotor failure damage and repair embodiment programmes covering entire fleets for large commercial and military aircraft (fixed wing and rotors).
Requirements
Candidates with a minimum Mechanical HNC Qualification or equivalent and relevant experience will be considered. Clear experience and understanding within the use of Catia V5 is essential. You will understand airworthiness standards and have some relevant experience in the maintenance of aircraft.
