Are you ready to take your career on to the next step? Our client based out of Broughton is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Quality Team as a Quality Engineer working on the night shift.
Pay Rate: £32.96/ph (30% shift allowance on top of hourly rate)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:45pm - 6:00am
As a Quality Engineer you'll play a key role in ensuring our client's products, processes and services meet the highest standards. You'll be the go-to expert for quality assurance, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, drive improvements and maintain their commitment to excellence. You'll be involved in everything from interpreting technical drawings and conducting root cause investigations to presenting quality overviews to leadership. This is a hands-on role where your insights and actions will directly impact product safety, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for:
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Quality experience
- Automotive, manufacturing, production experience considered (aerospace ideally)
- Strong problem-solving skills using tools like PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge constructively
- Proficiency in data analysis and drawing conclusions from graphical data
- Collaborative mindset - able to work effectively within integrated teams
- Background in quality or engineering within a major manufacturing industry (desirable)
