As a QA-QC Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout their projects.
Responsibilities include conducting internal audits, providing quality advice to projects, validating corrective actions, promoting a safety-first culture, and maintaining quality performance monitoring against KPIs. You'll also prepare and review quality plans, liaise with stakeholders, raise continuous improvement forms, and contribute to enhancing the company's technical capabilities.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong engineering and QA/QC background, current knowledge of Quality Management Systems, and experience in regulated environments like construction, nuclear, or aerospace. Proficiency in interpreting technical standards, managing conflicting demands, and using Microsoft Office is essential. Excellent communication, report writing skills, and experience in regulated industries are highly valued.
If you possess recognized internal auditor qualifications, an ONC/HNC in Engineering, and are a member of the Chartered Quality Institute, you're exactly who we're looking for. Current security clearance (SC) is desirable.
This is a site based, 12 month contract opportunity and the hourly rate for this will reflect the scope and significance of the client in their sector.
The nature of this opportunity means that you will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment so you must meet all the eligibility criteria to obtain UK Security Clearance.
