Project Manager (Technical) x3

We are seeking three Technical Project Managers to join a growing aerospace programme, supporting the development of cutting-edge electric motors and generator systems for hybrid aircraft for our client, a leading aerospace company based in Buckinghamshire.

The Project Managers will play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects-from early requirements capture through to design, modification, and delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a dynamic company, being part of an innovative aerospace programme, shaping the future of hybrid aviation and working on technically challenging, high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of technical engineering projects across new and legacy programmes
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met
  • Challenge assumptions, proactively identify risks, and escalate when required
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, engineers, and customers
  • Drive progress across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are achieved
  • Support planning activities across tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar

What You'll Be Working On

  • Aerospace systems including electric motors, generators, and control units
  • Hybrid aircraft technologies operating at high performance (e.g. high RPM systems)
  • A mix of:
    • New product development projects
    • Customer-driven modification programmes
    • Ongoing legacy projects

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience with planning tools (e.g. Planisware, Primavera, MS Project)
  • Proven experience delivering technical or engineering projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior teams
  • Experience running meetings, tracking actions, and driving accountability
  • Background in safety critical industries, such as aerospace, automotive, or similar engineering environments
