Belcan's Advanced Solutions division is currently going through a period of growth, and we are now looking to recruit a Project Manager to work across our Operational Technology (OT), OT Cyber, and multi-disciplinary Design Engineering business streams within our Oil & Gas and Utilities sector projects, and to work on Critical National Infrastructure projects under NEC contract frameworks. The Project Manager is responsible for working with multi-disciplinary teams to enable our clients to enhance, upgrade and risk-manage their assets. This would involve travelling to clients sites throughout the UK as required.

The successful Project Manager will be involved in the bidding, planning, Cost Control and execution of various work packages. As an experienced Project Manager, they will lead all aspects of project delivery to budget, cost, and quality, and will control monitoring and reporting of all project KPIs both internally and externally. They would also be responsible for liaising with a multi-disciplined engineering team, to ensure successful delivery of all projects. Management of multiple packages and/or multiple customers can be expected.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in a similar Project Management role in an Engineering environment.
  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering, or EC&I
  • Development of professional documents in the form of reports, project management plans and other analysis-based documentation
  • Project Management qualification (APM or PMI)
  • Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera

Desirable:

  • Key sector experience in: Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, or Infrastructure
  • Understanding and experience across a range of engineering disciplines.
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Completed technical higher education in a relevant field
  • Certificates or education related to industrial automation, mechanical engineering, EC&I or technical safety.
