Belcan Workforce Solutions are working with the world's largest manufacturer of off-highway machinery and diesel and natural gas engines to find a Project Facilitator to join their UK Global Programme Management team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Facilitator/Manager to lead projects and ensure they are delivered on time, to cost and quality starting at the concept stage and continuing through the stages of the various programs. You will also be developing relationships with key team members in order to motivate and drive the project forward.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and producing programme/project management schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Monitoring project progress and performance to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and on budget.
  • Regular stakeholder reporting.
  • Discussing any project problems with affected areas and ensure appropriate personnel are informed of problems and steps are in place to meet schedules.
  • Recommending possible solutions and alternatives to solve problems where appropriate.
  • Resource management - provide input for staffing and support of programmes.
  • Leading chartering sessions, develop/validate network diagrams and lead integration and compression sessions with internal and external teams.
  • Maintaining program level issues/action logs, risk registers, scope change requests/logs, program schedules, and program cost tracking.

Essential:

  • Proven experience with project management concepts, including project charters, scheduling, and planning projects and successful completion experience.
  • Proven risk management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, linking multiple worksheets, pivot tables, graphs).
  • Strong team leadership skills.

Desirable:

  • A degree (or equivalent) related to project management.
  • Prince 2/PMP or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat and web publishing tools.
