Are you a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We're working with our client to recruit a Project Engineer to support the delivery of one of the UK's most significant defence infrastructure programmes. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and site teams in delivering passive fire protection works. You'll be involved in all technical, planning, and coordination aspects of the project, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to site teams, interpreting drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in implementing quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Support programme development and identify potential delays with mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Promote and maintain high health & safety standards on site.
  • Resolve technical issues proactively during construction.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for the Project Manager.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including clients and consultants.

What We're Looking For:

  • Eligible for SC (or higher) security clearance.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer in UK construction.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to read technical drawings.
  • CSCS card holder and full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with project programming tools, e.g. Primavera P6. (desirable).
  • Understanding of passive fire protection systems (desirable).
