Belcan Workforce Solutions are working with one of our Aerospace clients to find a Project Controller to work at their Prestwick Airport site to administer and organise all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.

Project Controller's responsibilities include working closely with the Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this position, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Ultimately, the Project Coordinator's duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

You will be creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports, and coordinating project management activities, resources, equipment, and objectives to help ensure the smooth running of the Projects department. You will also be liaising with clients to identify and define their requirements, scope of work, and their objectives to ensure that client needs are met as projects evolve. Additionally. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management by breaking projects into doable actions and set timeframes to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

To be successful in this position, you will need proven work experience as a Project Controller or similar, and experience in project management, from conception to delivery. You must also be able to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans and have hands-on experience with project management tools. You must be qualified to HND/Degree level in a business discipline with either a post graduate qualification or equivalent experience; a project management qualification such as APM or Prince 2 would be an advantage but is not required.
