Join our client as a Planning & Logistics Production Scheduler (Production Planner) and play a key role in supporting their fast‑paced logistics and manufacturing operation in Broughton. Key Responsibilities
You'll contribute to the smooth flow of aircraft components, support operational performance and help drive improvements across planning and logistics processes.
- Support the delivery of aircraft part commodities, ensuring targets for build, cost and delivery are achieved.
- Work collaboratively within a multi‑functional team to drive performance and resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
- Contribute to planning and logistics improvement projects, supporting long‑term operational excellence.
- Anticipate and manage production rate changes, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Build strong working relationships with procurement teams to identify and resolve supplier‑related risks.
- Collaborate with the Logistic Service Provider (LSP) to ensure compliance with logistical processes and address non‑conformances.
- Promote a strong culture of health and safety through effective risk assessment and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in planning, scheduling, logistics or production environments.
- Advanced Google Sheets skills, including data manipulation and macros.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Logical, methodical and results‑driven approach.
- Manufacturing background
Contract Info
- Pay Rate: PAYE: £22.05 p/h | Umbrella: £29.51 p/h
- 35‑hour working week over 4.5 days (between 7am-7pm).
- Paid overtime available at enhanced weekday and weekend rates.
- Length: 12 months
- IR35: Inside IR35
