PLC and SCADA System Lead

Location: Reading

Are you a PLC and SCADA System Lead and looking for your next permanent opportunity?

Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables markets and they are looking for a HSE Senior Advisor in the Reading area.

This is a permanent job opportunity.

As a System Lead for PLC and SCADA you will be responsible for delivering agreed modules within a project. (A module could be an element of documentation, PLC code, SCADA configuration, testing works, Hardware Design, CAD etc.)

Main Responsibilities

* As a System Lead - PLC and SCADA you will be responsible to Undertake programming and configuration functions.

* Assist in the development of project documentation and Comply with QA procedures

* Identify deviations from agreed functionality & notify Senior Engineer/Project Manager

* Development of project modules, contribute and develop project documentation.

* Involvement in full integrated system testing, customer acceptance testing and in variation and rework.

* Undertake the supervision of site installation works and site re-testing.

* Involvement of the review of Electrical Drawings / Test Electrical Control Panels

* Attend Project Meetings where required representing the company assisting the Senior Engineer/Project Manager

* Liaising with the client and other vendors

* Experience of telemetry replacements and Clear SCADA experience

Experience & Qualifications

Experience in Clear SCADA and PLC packages.

Rockwell and Brodersen.
