MBSE Capella Subject Matter Expert
Location: Derby or Bristol - Hybrid working
We are looking for an MBSE with strong expertise in Capella to join our growing Model Based Systems Engineering function. You will play a key role in supporting engineers, improving modelling standards, and helping teams adopt modern MBSE practices across complex aerospace programmes.
What you'll do
- Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Capella and Team for Capella users
- Deliver onboarding, coaching, and training on MBSE and the ARCADIA method
- Support users with Git, Azure DevOps, and collaborative modelling workflows
- Improve MBSE guidance, standards, and training materials
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing for new plug‑ins, scripts, and tool updates
- Review, fix, and enhance existing models to ensure quality and compliance
What we're looking for
- Subject Matter Expertise in Capella is essential
- Strong understanding of ARCADIA and MBSE principles
- Confident supporting and coaching users at all levels
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- A background in aerospace or defence.
Desirable
- Some experience/knowledge of Cameo or MagicDraw (SysML/SysML2)
- INCOSE ASEP/CSEP or equivalent
