Belcan Workforce Solutions are looking for an experienced Logistics Planning Manager to join one of our clients on their Stockton site.

You will be responsible for team and their work to achieve supply chain performance targets focused on inventory control, inventory flow and improved order-to-delivery results. As well as coordinate and manages projects e.g., warehouse storage design, space utilisation, kitting or lean methodology including replenishment methods.

You will support the incumbent team with daily logistical operational requirements and determine appropriate equipment and staffing levels to manage movement of materials at the facility. Coordinate teams to develop logistics metrics, utilising analytical tools to improve efficiency and monitor performance and develop operating strategies, plans and procedures.

You should have experience in conducting logistical studies to identify cost reduction or process improvement opportunities. Whilst also managing 3rd party storage solutions including material flow & transport to meet production requirements.

You have the ability to take a facility-wide view of supply chain planning processes and tools, in order to coordinate the efforts of multiple teams across functions and divisions.

Ideally you will have a College or university degree related to Supply Chain and knowledge of SAP implementation and management and AutoCAD & logistical software's.

You have acquired a PRINCE2 or similar qualification, MCIPS / APICS or similar qualification, good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the business.

Being able to develop teams, building mutual trust, respect and cooperation amongst team members, you must have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems.

You can show experience of managing, designing & implementing warehouse storage solutions, logistics processes, including metrics, material flow and control. you can adapt and prioritise team's workload to meet business requirements and have progressive experience within supply chain and/or logistics roles.

We would really like to see previous project management experience.
