Full-Time | Up to 40 Hours/Week (On-site)
Coventry
12-Month Contract

Are you looking to further progress your career in technical documentation within the aerospace industry? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation in Coventry as a Junior Technical Author, where you'll gain hands-on experience and grow your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Why This Role Is a Great Fit for You

You'll be joining a team at the heart of innovation, supporting the evolution of the Technical Publications & Support function during a major transition. Whether you're a recent graduate or have some experience in technical writing or administration, this role offers the chance to develop your expertise and make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Technical Services team, you'll be involved in:

  • Technical Administration: Managing inboxes, validating customer accounts, updating support cases, and helping users access technical documents.
  • Document Migration & Editing: Assisting in the migration of technical publications, editing documents using tools like PTC Arbortext and FrameMaker, and updating illustrations in IsoDraw.
  • Technical Authoring: Supporting the creation and maintenance of aerospace documentation in line with industry standards.

You'll receive guidance and training to help you succeed, while contributing to real-world projects that support mission-critical operations.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who's eager to learn, organised, and has a keen eye for detail. Some experience or familiarity with the following is helpful, but not essential:

  • Case management systems
  • SGML editing tools (e.g. Arbortext)
  • Adobe FrameMaker
  • Technical illustration software (e.g. IsoDraw)
  • Customer service or administrative experience

If you've worked on documentation projects, studied technical writing, or have a passion for clear communication, we'd love to hear from you.

Ready to Launch Your Career?

Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career in aerospace support. You'll be part of a team that values growth, collaboration, and innovation.

Please note: You must be willing to undergo BPSS clearance and sign an NDA.
