Belcan Workforce Solutions are looking for an experienced Material Planner to join one of our clients on their Desford site.
The successful candidate will be working within a Product focused team, as the Material Planner you will ensure that material requirements are scheduled for delivery from suppliers in quantity and on time to support our service to customers. You will have to ensure that deliveries take place on the correct date, in the correct containers, in the quantity specified and managing and control the inventory levels for outgoing parts.
Be confident in Initiating, co-ordinating and participating in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels and to be involved with the scheduling and control of onward shipping material. Whilst at the same time maintaining all tasks to CPS levels of performance.
The ideal candidate will have the previous experience of working in a Material Planning / supply chain role and be comfortable with supplier Management tasks, being self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. It would be advantageous having worked with Microsoft skills and have knowledge of MRP and excellent interpersonal skills.
