A fantastic opportunity has opened within our clients 'Building Construction Products Division', located in Desford, Leicester. They are currently hiring an engineer to join the Hydraulic System Team is support of the development of mobile construction equipment hydraulic systems.
The mission of the team is to provide value to our global customers both internally and externally by helping design, develop, understand, optimize, test, validate, and support hydraulic systems.
As an engineer in the hydraulic systems team, you will be responsible for hydraulic development and maintenance. You will develop and validate the hydraulic system through machine testing, tuning, and performance evaluation of the hydraulic system in the machine.
You will assist in solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will also continue to grow your professional network.
Your Responsibilities may include Hydraulic System schematic creation, Test and develop changes to hydraulic systems and component solutions. To then Research and explore new technologies and Develop original or innovative approaches to engineering design, cost reduction, and problem solving. You'd Promote quality and continuous improvement philosophies along side researching and exploring new technology. We'd also like you to deepen your knowledge base of our products, technologies, processes, services, and systems. Organize and prioritize work assignments to complete assignments/tasks on time.
Ideally your background would come from a knowledge of 3D modelling software, ideally ProE/Creo. You will have great communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to apply to the team. But also having the ability to be initiative and a go getter on self-starting tasks.
It would be advantageous if you have gained a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum. With relevant hydraulic engineering work experience or design of off-highway construction machines. A basic knowledge of testing and data acquisition tools, knowledge of simulation and analysis of hydraulic systems and knowledge in machine operation.
