An excellent opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Advisor has arisen onsite with one of our clients, a world leader within many key industries. This role is placed within Industrial Services Sector, Petrochemical or construction industries.
What will you do in this position?
In this position you will be responsible for promote and improve safety performance and create a strong HSE culture within the company by leading and developing project / site HSE plans.
Main Responsibilities
As a HSEQ Advisor you will be managing and developing stakeholder relationships conducting frequent site monitoring and auditing to ensure legal compliance. Working with Operational Management to enable them to take ownership and deliver HSE 'through the line'.
Actively engaging with and advising site Supervision on incident investigation and leading the process through to satisfactory completion, closing the loop. Driving safety culture, providing onsite informal coaching, safety interventions, toolbox talks and training and increasing hazards reported onsite
Providing feedback to the workforce for all hazards identified onsite and maintaining open two way communication.
Work in conjunction with the Regional HSE Manager to:
- Provide support and deliver against Company targets and objectives
- Maintaining site KPIs and safety control loop scores
- Promote the use of the company HSE Management System and identify
- Promote and support the Company Behavioural Safety Programme 'Safety Works'
- Report on concerns of non-compliance or potential non-adherence to legislation
Experience & Qualifications
- Candidates should have Auditing / Inspection experience.
- Incident Management & Investigation, report writing, HSE Legislation
- CDM Regulations Experience
- NEBOSH General Certificate, Grad IOSH Status (Essential)
- NVQ 5 / NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)- Desired
- Management System Standards and improvement planning
- Industrial Services Sector and Petrochemical Industry and competent in delivering training
