Belcan International is hiring for a Head of Accounting & Financial Reporting.
Hybrid working from our Derby office - DE24 8UP.

You will lead and manage all elements of financial control across the Belcan International Group, including defining best practice, consolidation of annual statutory accounts and ownership of all associated regulatory and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a skilled finance team, maintain robust financial processes, manage month-end close activities, collaborate with global teams, handle statutory reporting, oversee tax and treasury matters, manage external relationships, ensure ERP system consistency, and perform company secretarial duties.
Qualification/Experience
Essential
- Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with demonstrative post qualification experience.
- Experience of leading a team in financial, transaction and statutory reporting environment.
- Proven experience in an audit environment, ideally across both UK and US GAAP, or in a Senior Financial Control role.
- Advanced excel user
- Prior experience in the finance function of an international organisation (ideally UK/US).
Desirable
- Previous M&A experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Hands on experience of an ERP Implementation Project (Oracle)
