Electrical Functional Design Engineer - Aircraft - Contract OUTSIDE IR35.
Contract Length - 3 Months Initially
Belcan Engineering Service's, Bristol based office provides work packages to a number of Aircraft OEM's. The work is varied with multiple projects, we are now looking at building our team of consultants.
The Role:
Working on Aircraft electrical design projects for major OEM's. This may include collation of electrical functional information from the system owners/architects, definition of wiring data, development of wiring schematics and functional diagrams. This role may support modifications, new definition scheme development, investigations, installations.
The Candidate:
Aerospace/ Air Frame Structures knowledge is essential.
Proficient in the use of Catia V5 and Catia Electrical work bench
Knowledge of electrical routing and harness definition, 2d drawing compilation, 3d annotation FT&A, drawing set compilation within PLM system
Carrying out compilation and checking of wiring diagrams, schematics and functional diagrams, electrical configuration and integration, trained and experienced on use of the electrical work bench
Knowledge of change management is of benefit but not essential
Individuals with recognized signatory authority will be of benefit but not essential
