Due to increased growth, Belcan is looking for an Electronics Project Engineer to join our growing engineering team based in Cheltenham dealing with the whole life cycle of projects, from concept design, to manufacture and delivery of bespoke electronic equipment, such as medical Instrumentation, Aerospace and Automotive products.
Our Electronics Project Engineers are required to work individually or within a small team under the direction of the Lead Electronics Engineers. Your responsibilities will consist of Technical Design, through applying technical skills to problem solve and create practical design solutions.
We are looking for a candidate who is Electronics Degree qualified or has equivalent hands-on experience of PCB design, including I/O mapping, FPGA porting, PCB Schematics and PCB layouts, preferably using Altium and Fusion 360 Eagle. The ideal candidate will be someone who can design from first principles, with understanding of other disciplines required to produce a finished design.
