Are you an experienced Electrical Test Engineer with a passion for space technology? Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to support spacecraft ground support test equipment and electrical test systems for a leading aerospace client in Stevenage.



What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electronic and RF test racks used in spacecraft build and test.
  • Administer and configure networked computer systems (Windows & Linux).
  • Support environmental and launch test campaigns.
  • Prepare and review test specifications, supplier data packs, and non-conformance reports.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools for test execution and system validation.


What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic/RF test racks and fault-finding to component level.
  • Experience with ATE environments (PCI, VXI, PXI).
  • Familiarity with interfaces like Mil-1553, SpaceWire, CAN bus, RS232/422.
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux system administration.
  • Skilled in using lab test equipment and writing technical documentation.

Desirable:

  • Experience with spacecraft electrical integration and TMTC databases.
  • Scripting and programming skills (Bash, Python, C, Java, TCL, VBA).
  • Knowledge of environmental and launch test procedures.
