Electrical Project Engineer

Belcan workforce solutions is looking for a Electrical Project Engineer, this opportunity is vital to our client's growth strategy of providing high quality engineering and project services to their end user clients. The role is on a Permanent and contract basis based at client site in Stevenage.
Main Responsibilities
As a Project Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for quality of the Electrical design where you will manage a portfolio of projects and completing projects within budget and planning. This project will be for pharmaceutical industry, and will range from Concept Design to Execution Design through Construction, Commissioning and then handover to Operations.
You will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for managing engineering projects with the support of the head office Engineering and Design team. It also includes change control and consistency of the Electrical design.
Should have experience in Laboratory design, especially low voltage building services, distribution, small power and lighting. You will participate in internal and external design reviews, and you are responsible for the design acceptance by the client. Make independent decisions on issues; provide technical support within Electrical Engineering.
Experience & Qualifications
More than 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company. Good knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Design, with extensive experience in Electrical and Earthing especially low voltage building services, distribution, small power and lighting Sound multidiscipline engineering knowledge.
HND / BSc / BEng / MSc in Engineering (Electrical or Building Services Preferred). Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is essential.
Result oriented:
You plan and organize project before you allow your team to start spending hours. Experience in implementing a solid change control procedure in your projects. Capable and confident being in front of internal and external clients acting as the authority for client UK. Develop and effectively present design packages to the client, ensuring it meets the scope of the job and you should be able to chair design review meetings.
The salary for this will reflect the scope and significance of the client in their sector and has the added flexibility for a working pattern.
