Belcan's Marine Engineering Division has currently gone through a period of significant growth, we are now looking to recruit a team of Electrical Detail Design Engineer's, on a permanent basis. Our current team is built around years of marine experience, designing, analysing, approving, and delivering an excellent engineering service to our clients.
Our Electrical Detail Design Engineers work closely with our clients to ensure all requirements are met on time, in full, whilst continuously maintaining Belcan's high standards of quality and service. Day to Day you will carry out spatial integration work, 3D Modelling and 2D Sketching, collaborating closely with our Mechanical Design engineers to ensure customer requirements are met to a high standard.
We are looking for candidates at all levels of experience, a minimum HNC Qualification is required, alongside previous knowledge of CAD Software Design Packages (ideally Foran). Knowledge of marine power/propulsion systems, automation, navigation, and communication equipment is advantageous but not essential, as well as practical experience in construction and usage of detailed electrical schematics, single line diagrams and cable schedules.
