CATIA Design Engineer
Belcan has an exciting opportunity for Aerospace Electrical Design Engineers to work within Belcan Design Teams due to a number of new projects being worked on. These are Contract or Permanent roles, primarily based in Bristol but flexible working may be an option. We also welcome applications from Electrical Design Engineers with Automotive and CATIA experience.
The contract roles have been deemed Outside IR35 and have competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
* Aircraft Primary Structure design for major OEM's.
* This may include modifications, new definition scheme development, investigations, installations or repair schemes.
Essential skills
* Previous experience using Catia V5
* Experience within the Aerospace or Automotive industry
* 3D Solid model definition
* Experience with a PLM system such as Team Centre
* Understanding of the Design process and modelling methods
* Understanding of Composite design process and modelling methods
* Understanding of configuration and change management
* Individuals with recognized signatory authority will be of benefit but not essential
