As a Document Controller, your primary mission is to ensure that the Facilities Management team has access to vital asset information, supporting the smooth operation and compliance of the business. You'll be at the forefront of managing, organizing, and maintaining essential building and site documents, all while administering the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and databases..
Working closely with the Document Control Team Leader, you'll play a critical role in creating, developing, modifying, and managing documents and records that are essential to operations. Your responsibilities also include keeping the EDMS system in check, making sure the databases are up to date, and ensuring that change, revision control, and document status are well-maintained.
To excel in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in IT skills, coupled with expertise in the MS Office 365 suite. Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and database management is a must. Your understanding of change management, revision control, and document status will be the key to your success in this dynamic position.
