T200 Design Approver
12-Month Contract | Broughton / Filton | £46-£52 per hour (Umbrella)
We are seeking an experienced design approver to join an aerospace wing engineering team on an initial 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced aerospace engineering environment, supporting the delivery of technical design solutions that enable aircraft wing production whilst ensuring compliance with all design, airworthiness and safety requirements.
T200 Design Approver - Role Details
- Position: T200 Design Approver
- Location: Broughton/Filton
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Pay Rate: £46 - £52 Umbrella
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm)
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
- Security Clearance: BPSS Required
- Hybrid Working: Minimum 60% onsite requirement
T200 Design Approver - Key Responsibilities
- Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for modifications to the type design, design query notes and production flow modifications.
- Act as a lead design engineer and design approval signatory, providing technical governance and guidance on complex engineering issues.
- Lead, guide and approve design solutions covering major and minor design modifications and works query notes.
- Ensure all design, airworthiness and safety requirements are achieved whilst working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring engineering team members and supporting capability development across the team.
T200 Design Approver - Essential Experience
- T200 design approval signatory delegation.
- Extensive experience within aerospace design engineering and aircraft modification activities.
- Proven ability to lead design investigations and approve technical solutions within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of airworthiness, configuration management and engineering governance requirements.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and working with multi-functional stakeholder groups.
