Location: Broughton (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £44 to £50 per hour
Contract: Until December 2026 (likely extension)

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Design Structures Approver to support a fast-paced aerospace engineering environment, delivering high-quality design solutions to meet production and manufacturing needs.
You'll act as a Design Approval signatory, leading investigations, approving modifications, and ensuring all outputs meet airworthiness, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in supporting ongoing production while driving continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and approve structural design activities, including modifications and design queries
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring engineers and supporting team development
- Ensure compliance with design, safety, and airworthiness standards while working closely with cross-functional teams
- Support manufacturing with timely engineering solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Recognised Design Approval / Signatory delegation
- Strong aerospace structures experience
- Proven ability to deliver design solutions within production or manufacturing environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
