Design Quality Engineer
Location: Filton, Bristol (hybrid working available)
Contract details: 12 months (inside IR35)
Hourly rate: £31.09 Umbrella OR £23.50 PAYE
Belcan Workforce Solutions are working with one of the world's leading aerospace OEMs to find a Design Quality Engineer to join the Engineering Airframe Non-Specific Design Quality team based in Filton.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent STEM graduates and those with experience in Quality Engineering to enter the Aerospace industry and work within an established and continuously improving company with ambitious growth targets.
The successful candidate will join the transnational team and support the Non-Specific Design Airframe centre and wider Airframe and Engineering functions by leading quality initiatives that will benefit the whole company. There will be specific focus on the deployment and application of continuous improvement initiatives, working with the Engineering teams to eradicate the root causes of any non-conformance or deviations and any potential process improvements.
Candidates must be STEM graduates or have experience within Quality Engineering and have had exposure to or an understanding of Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis Techniques (such as 9S and 8D). Experience within Project Management or a knowledge of Project Management processes would be desirable, as would experience within a Design or Manufacturing Engineering environment.
