Belcan's Aerospace Engineering Division is currently going through a period of significant growth. We are now looking to add to our team of Design Engineers. Our Design team are involved in projects that include the Design of Aircraft Structures, both Commercial and Military aircraft, and our Repair team are involved in the design and Stress of In-sevice Aircraft.

We have been involved in the design of both Primary and Secondary structures for many years,

our Repair division is built on years of Aircraft Repair Engineering heritage, designing, analysing, approving, and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs.

Day to day, you will use CATIA V5 to create assembly drawings as well as interrogating DMU's and technical reports.

In our repair team you will provide repair designs within a short turnaround, examples for these repairs could include, lightning strikes, uncontained rotor failure damage and repair embodiment programmes covering entire fleets for large commercial and military aircraft (fixed wing and rotors), on a variety of different projects.

Candidates with a Mechanical Degree or HNC / HND and relevant experience will be considered. Clear experience and understanding in the use of CATIA V5 is essential. You will understand airworthiness standards and have previous experience in the verification of documents or checking/approving of designs.
