Design Assurance Engineer
We're recruiting a Design Assurance Engineer to support a leading aerospace programme, ensuring avionics and electronic hardware meet all airworthiness, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent design assurance across the full lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with DO‑254, ARP4754A, ARP4761, EASA/FAA.
- Review requirements, design artefacts, safety analyses, and test evidence.
- Oversee/witness verification and qualification testing.
- Support safety assessments (FMEA, FTA, SSA) and DAL compliance.
- Ensure configuration and process adherence across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics, Avionics, Aerospace or similar.
- Experience in design assurance, airworthiness, or avionics/electronics development.
- Strong understanding of digital/analogue hardware, embedded systems, or avionics integration.
- Familiarity with DOORS/Polarion/JAMA.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
