Due to the continued growth Belcan is currently experiencing, we are now looking to recruit a Control Systems Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be required to work on a variety of live projects within the energy and utilities sector, whilst supporting our Junior Engineers through the full project lifestyle.
From user specifications to test procedures and PLC software programming, our Control Systems Engineers are responsible for carrying out the full lifecycle activities. Your day-to-day tasks will include management with DCS/SCADA/PLC and safety systems, project planning as well as maintaining and communicating project technical documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding within all aspects of Control Systems Engineering, supported by knowledge of full PLC software design and build lifecycle, in line with international standards. Experience in using one of more control system hardware platforms (Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB for example) is essential and some previous experience working within the oil and gas industry, or a similar field is preferred.
